PST (Pacific Standard Time) is a time zone that is eight hours behind Coordinated Universal Time (UTC-8). It is used in North America, including parts of the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The PST timezone includes the western states of the United States, such as California, Oregon, and Washington, as well as the Canadian province of British Columbia.

Indian Standard Time (IST) is the time zone used in India. It is five and a half hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC+5:30). IST is used in the entire country of India and is the only time zone used in the country.
